
Wendholme Cottage is a self-catering holiday cottage nestling in the ancient village of Stratton, just 1.5 miles from the popular seaside town of Bude.
The village of Stratton is steeped in history, being mentioned in the Doomsday records of 1087 and played an active role in the civil war as a stronghold for the Royalists. Today the village boasts three Public Houses offering a variety of daytime and evening meals, a convenience store/Post Office and local fish and chips, all within easy walking distance of Wendholme Cottage. With two child friendly sandy beaches ideal for rock pooling, well renowned surfing, fantastic fishing, two golf courses, tennis courts, and leisure centre with swimming pool, Bude really does offer something for everyone.
