
Wendholme Cottage and Cot Hill Cottage are self-catering holiday cottages nestling in the ancient village of Stratton, just 1.5 miles from the popular seaside town of Bude.
Cot Hill Cottage (right) is a detached period cottage offering flexible accommodation, sleeping up to 8 people plus cot. Pets are welcome. (Move mouse over pictures) The village of Stratton is steeped in history, being mentioned in the Doomsday records of 1087 and played an active role in the civil war as a stronghold for the Royalists. Today the village boasts three Public Houses offering a variety of daytime and evening meals, plus local fish and chips, all within easy walking distance of both cottages. The bustling seaside town of Bude offers a very wide range of attractions and amenities. With two child friendly sandy beaches ideal for rock pooling, well renowned surfing, fantastic fishing, two golf courses, tennis courts, and leisure centre with swimming pool, Bude really does offer something for everyone. There are also excellent shopping facilities including a fishmonger, several supermarkets and bakeries for those tempting Cornish Pasties!
